FRESHIE MAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure out your beads into 4 equal parts
Using a ziplock or a container with a lid (not your original container) put 1/4 of your beads in the container and add 1 of your mica samples.
Shake them well until the mica is well distributed
Place your mold on an old cookie sheet or baking pan (Do not use the same one you will use for food)
Place your cardstock face down in the center of your mold.
To make your hole... Use a nail or bolt and stand it up on its head inside the mold, not on your cardstock. Put it just over the edge of the cardstock not too close to the edge of the mold. If you choose, you can leave out this step and use an eye hook screwed into the edge after baking.
(If you have or want glitter, this is where you will sprinkle it around the edges. (It's ok if it gets on the cardstock, it won't hurt but no one will see it there)
Slowly pour in your scented, colored beads
Press them down firmly with your fingers until they are flat and even.
Bake at 320 degrees for 13 minutes. (All ovens vary so you'll want to check it and may need to adjust time or temp accordingly)
Once ready let it sit flat for a few minutes. While it is warm but not hot, bend the edges of the mold over towards the inside, this will get rid of the pointy edges where the beads slid down the mold during baking. Do this all the way around.
Let it completely cool before attempting to take it out of the mold. Pulling it out warm will cause it to warp, have indentions from your fingers or other objects. Once completely cool, you can place it in your provided storage bag and put your warning label on it if you are giving or selling it to someone other that yourself.
